The True T-23FG-HC~FGD01 reach-in freezer ensures a temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant regulated by a capillary tube system. It employs large evaporator and condenser fans to circulate cold air consistently throughout the cabinet, aided by rear guards that prevent products from obstructing airflow. An automatic defrost system activates at specific intervals and deactivates once a certain temperature is reached.
To enhance the longevity and efficiency of the refrigeration system, the condenser fan motor features a reversing mechanism. During the initial 20 seconds of operation, it reverses to expel accumulated debris, dirt, and dust from the condensing coil. Proper maintenance is crucial to ensuring optimal performance, as this self-cleaning function minimizes energy consumption and maintains consistently cold storage temperatures.
The unit includes three PVC-coated shelves that can be adjusted in 1⁄2-inch increments along cabinet pilasters to accommodate various product sizes. The interior of the one-section freezer features a clear-coated aluminum finish to resist stains and scratches, while the stainless steel floor with coved corners simplifies cleanup by preventing debris buildup. The glass door is right-hinged and opens to the left.
