The True STR1F-2HS-HC SPEC SERIES® single-section reach-in freezer is primarily constructed of durable stainless steel, ensuring resilience against scratches, dents, and impact damage. It features two stainless steel Dutch doors, allowing access to one section at a time and minimizing the release of cold air. Each door is equipped with a bolt-style lock for added security and cam-lift hinges for smooth operation.
This reach-in freezer is supported by four 5-inch castors, with two locking castors to prevent unintended movement. Its digital display can show temperature settings in Celsius or Fahrenheit. The top-mounted refrigeration system keeps hot air exhaust away from the food zone. The condenser fan motor operates in reverse for 20 seconds at startup, clearing debris from the coil. Regular cleaning of this component ensures efficient and reliable operation, reduces energy consumption, and maintains the coldest cabinet storage temperatures. However, this self-cleaning feature does not replace routine preventative maintenance.
Interior LED lighting enhances visibility when accessing products inside the unit, and the automatic defrost function is time-controlled, reducing the need for manual defrost and employee labor.
