Its top-mounted refrigeration unit utilizes a capillary tube system with R404A refrigerant to maintain a frosty -10 degrees Fahrenheit temperature inside the cabinet. Electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors circulate air throughout the unit, reducing heat production for energy efficiency. An automatic defrost system, initiated by time and terminated by temperature, ensures minimal frost build-up for uninterrupted operation. Users can conveniently monitor the temperature using the external digital display.
The exterior of the True STG1FPT-2HS-2HS pass-thru freezer boasts a robust construction, featuring a stainless steel front and doors complemented by aluminum sides. Inside, the aluminum side walls and back are corrosion-resistant, while the stainless steel floor and ceiling provide durability. The unit is well-insulated with polyurethane to seal in cold air, and a magnetic door gasket forms a tight seal around the doors. The self-closing doors also feature a 120-degree stay-open function to prevent accidents when loading products.
