The True STA2RPT-2G-2G-HC is an environmentally friendly pass-thru two-section refrigerator that maintains temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. It features efficient condenser and evaporator fan motors that circulate cold air while minimizing energy consumption and heat production. The top-mounted refrigeration system keeps critical components away from floor debris, but it can be challenging to access for servicing.
This refrigerator's automatic fan motor reversal for 20 seconds during compressor startup helps remove dust and debris from the condensing coil, reducing energy usage and enhancing efficiency. The pass-thru design includes two glass doors on the front and rear, allowing users to view contents without opening the unit. The double-paned, thermal-insulated glass maintains consistent temperatures inside. Self-closing doors stay open beyond 120 degrees for cleaning and restocking, and they feature locks for security.
Inside, each section boasts three chrome-plated wire shelves for corrosion resistance and even airflow around stored items. The stainless steel and aluminum interior ensures durability and rust resistance, with easy-to-clean properties extending to the exterior. Foamed-in-place insulation in the doors and cabinet prevents heat transfer and reinforces structural strength. This refrigerator stands on castors, with locking front castors for stability.
