The Southbend S36D is a versatile restaurant range designed for cooking multiple products simultaneously. It features six clog-resistant burners with rugged cast iron grates, ensuring even heat distribution. Convenient removable crumb trays catch grease and debris for easy cleaning. A 4-inch-deep stainless steel rail on the front provides space for seasoning and setting down plates and pans.
The range includes a standard oven with a 35,000-BTU U-shaped burner for energy-efficient heating. The oven is well-insulated with dense rock wool on the top and four sides, maintaining temperatures between 175 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit with a snap-action thermostat. For safety, it's equipped with a flame failure safety device that shuts off gas flow if the pilot light extinguishes. The enameled oven interior is easy to clean, and 6-inch legs elevate the base for easy access to clean crumbs underneath.
