The True TRCB-79 Chef Base offers a versatile combination of refrigerated storage and a robust workspace. Its stainless steel top is engineered to support up to 1,084 pounds of equipment and supplies, making it an ideal addition to busy commercial kitchens. The top's seamless construction prevents food buildup, and the raised marine rail edge ensures spills are contained.
This chef base features refrigerated drawers, allowing you to keep essential ingredients within arm's reach. Each drawer can hold two full-size food pans that are 4 inches deep (food pans sold separately). For added convenience and space optimization, all drawer handles are recessed, avoiding obstructions in the kitchen aisle.
Maintaining a consistent interior temperature ranging from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit is a breeze with the True TRCB-79. You can easily set, adjust, and monitor the temperature using the digital display. The cooling system relies on R134A refrigerant flowing through capillary tubes and large fans to circulate chilled air evenly throughout the cabinet.
To prevent cold-air leaks and ensure efficient insulation, magnetic gaskets seal the drawers, while foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation reinforces the cabinet's structure. The unit's stainless steel and aluminum construction guarantees durability, and its castors provide mobility for hassle-free cleaning underneath the base.
