The Star 6148RCBF Star-Max® Gas Charbroiler is an excellent choice for high-volume cooking applications. Its versatile design features large, high-capacity grates that can be adjusted to flat or inclined positions and can be reversed to a thin side for searing or a thick side for delicate items. The broiling surface is divided into 12-inch sections, each heated by an efficient H-style cast iron burner. The four control knobs allow precise heat adjustment for these sections.
This charbroiler is powered by natural gas, and it includes a conversion kit for LP gas if needed. It features tapered splash guards to contain debris and grease splatter, keeping the cooking area clean. For operator safety, the unit is equipped with an extended cool-to-the-touch bull-nose front to prevent burns during use. Adjustable 4-inch legs elevate the charbroiler to maintain safe countertop temperatures. It's a reliable choice for commercial kitchens.
