The True TUC-27-HC undercounter refrigerator offers convenient features for efficient operation. It features a single door with a 12-inch recessed handle and a magnetic gasket to prevent cold air leaks. The door stays open past 90 degrees for easy loading and unloading, and cleaning is a breeze thanks to coved corners in the stainless steel floor and a clear aluminum liner.
Constructed with stainless steel and GalFan-coated steel, the unit is durable and reliable. The refrigeration system uses eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and a capillary tube system to maintain temperatures in the range of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Epoxy-coated evaporator, along with evaporator and condenser motors, ensures consistent airflow and even temperatures throughout the cabinet.
For enhanced efficiency and longevity, the compressor's fan motor reverses for 20 seconds when the unit powers on, removing debris from the condenser coil. While this self-cleaning feature is beneficial, routine preventive maintenance is still recommended for optimal performance.
