To keep items cold, it employs the use of environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant within a capillary tube system. The combination of polyurethane insulation and low-E insulated glass doors effectively retains cold air within the cabinet.
One notable feature is the condensing fan motor, which runs in reverse for 20 seconds after the compressor starts. This mechanism serves to reduce the accumulation of dust on the condensing coil, a practice that extends the unit's lifespan and enhances its efficiency.
