The Star 6036CBF Star-Max® Charbroiler is a versatile and efficient cooking solution, designed for high-volume applications in commercial kitchens. It's powered by natural gas but can easily be converted to propane using the included conversion kit for added flexibility.
Featuring three burners spaced every 12 inches, this 36-inch wide charbroiler ensures even heat distribution. Each burner section is equipped with a heavy-duty metal knob for precise heat control. The unit utilizes lava rock briquettes to transfer heat to the broiling surface, enhancing the flavor of food by absorbing grease and vaporizing it.
The 6-inch grates on the surface can be independently adjusted to flat or inclined positions and are reversible, with a thin side for searing and a thick side for delicate products. These grates can accommodate a large amount of food, making it ideal for high-volume cooking during busy hours.
Tapered guards effectively contain splashes to the broiling surface, ensuring a cleaner cooking area.
